A valid passport is required for this tour. Train tickets to Machu Picchu are included. Be prepared for varying altitudes and bring cash for meals not included.
The dry season, from May to October, is generally considered the best time to visit Cusco and Machu Picchu, offering clearer skies and less rain. However, the shoulder months (April, November) can also be pleasant with fewer crowds. The rainy season (December to March) brings lush green landscapes but also increased chances of precipitation.
We recommend packing layers, as temperatures can vary significantly throughout the day. Include comfortable walking shoes, a waterproof jacket or poncho, a hat for sun protection, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, a small backpack for daily excursions, and any personal medications.
