For this spectacular trip, our bus will take us in the morning to go to the Km. 82, no we will find our porters and all necessary equipment to take with us on the Inca trail material. On this tour you will visit the Church of Campania, which has an impressive Andean Baroque style, and its cloisters, where youths were trained to be priests. We pick you up from your hotel with our private transport. After 2 hours drive from the National Vicuña Reserve (Salinas and Aguada Blanca) is crossed. Here we have to take a “mate de coca” (Coca tea) to avoid altitude sickness, at this stop there is a market for local crafts, then continue on our minibus. We arrived at 4900 mts. Altitude, and from there you can see the view of all the volcanoes in the area, like the Misti, Chachani and Ampato (the mountain where the Juanita mummy was found). We continue in our transport and arrived at 13.30 Chivay (Colca capital / Caylloma region). Breakfast at 6:00 am, take the path to the Cruz del Condor with our transportation. This is going to take about 2 hours of driving. Along the way we stop to take pictures of the people on the other side of the canyon, as Coporaque, Lari Ichupampa and finally arrived at the Cruz del Condor viewpoint. From here you can see the Colca Canyon and the impressive flight of the condors, after which we return to Chivay for lunch, visit interesting towns like Pinchollo, Maca and elsewhere.
